Canteen

A spacious canteen has been made available in the college premises to cater to students and staff.
All the necessary infrastructure like space, furniture, utensils, cookware have been arranged by the college.
In addition, the power supply and water are also being provided free of cost,
because of which essential items are being supplied at subsidized rates as fixed by the college.

Hostel facility

College has a boy's & girls’ hostel inside the campus.

Library

The College Library System consists of a Central Library and 6 departmental libraries, which collectively support the teaching, research and extension programmes of the Institute. All students, faculty members and employees of the Institute are entitled to make use of the Library facilities on taking library membership. The Library, besides having a huge collection of books on engineering, science and humanities, offers library services through its various divisions.

Library Automation

The Library uses NewGenLib software package, which is an integrated multi-tier library management system that supports all in-house operations of the Library. The NewGenLib consists of modules on acquisition, technical processing, circulation, serial management, Administration, Reports, Queries and utilities. More than 12,000 bibliographic records of books available in the Library, can now be accessed through the NewGenLib OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue). The database of books available in the Library is being updated on day-to-day basis with details of recently acquired books. Records of all the Library patrons have also been created in the NewGenLib package.

Collection

The Library subscribes to 372 current journals/periodicals. The Library has a rich collection of books on Science and Technology including Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics. Besides, the Library also has a good collection in the areas of Humanities, Social Sciences and Management. Besides General Collection, the Library has segregated specialized collection of Reference books, Project Reports, Bound Volumes of Journals, Standards Compact Disks, Text Books and Book Bank.

Sports

Sports are the integral component of MIC education. MIC has a spacious play ground that has cricket ground, football and volley ball courts in addition to the in-door gaming facilities. MIC successfully organized JNTUK, ‘C’-zone sports competitions and SBTET’s sports meet with alacrity. MIC students bagged a number of prizes in national, the inter University and intercollegiate sports events.

To promote good sports and gaming facilities in the campus.
To ensure that maximum no. of students participate in intercollegiate and inter-university tournaments.
To organize sports meets in the campus.
To propose annual budget for sports.

Transportation Facility

College operates about 48 well maintained and conditioned buses for commuting students from various parts in and around Vijayawada to college campus.
College also operates an A.C bus for senior faculty of the college.
GPRS system has been implemented and speed limit has been setup to ensure safe travel of the students and staff.
All safety guidelines of A.P government are being followed including installation of speed governors to limit the speed.
A separate maintenance section is being maintained at Vijayawada to keep the buses in good condition and to take care of routine maintenance.
